Request-a-Ride allows you to  book, confirm, and cancel your trips anytime online when it’s convenient for you.

Beginning Monday, February 2, you will be able to schedule trips with Geauga Transit up to two (2) weeks in advance.

Fare Info

Geauga Transit accepts cash or check when boarding the bus or prepayment in advance to be kept on your Geauga Transit account. Drivers cannot make change and credit cards are not accepted.

Beginning, Monday, February 2, all rides must be prepaid.

Geauga Transit Dispatch can help you set up an account. Prepayments can be made by credit card, debit card or check. Funds must be in your account prior to scheduling a ride.

Our services

Geauga Transit provides public transportation throughout the 16 townships, 4 villages, and 1 city of our beautiful county. We provide transportation anywhere in the county you would like to travel, whether it be medical, employment, shopping, recreation, or a neighbor’s house down the street.

Geauga Transit can provide limited out-of-county transportation. We will travel up to 2 miles outside of Geauga County.

Geauga Transit connects with Laketran at UH Tripoint Medical Center in Concord and with Greater Cleveland RTA at SOM Center and Mayfield Road in Mayfield Heights.

Hours of Operation

MonDAY – FriDAY 6 AM–9 PM

Transit vehicles depart our Geauga Transit facility at 6:00 am and must return by 9:00 pm.

Employment

Here at Geauga Transit, we are not only excited about driving…we are excited about how we serve our community.  Our ideal candidate is passionate about customer service, reliable, and team-oriented. A valid driver’s license is required to work as a driver and all applicants must pass a background check, drug-test and ODOT physical. 

Walk-in interviews Monday-Tuesday from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. We are currently interviewing for:

  •  Part-time Bus Driver (3)
  • Full-time Service Worker (1)
